‘It is hard right and wants to move America back decades’


REPORTER: “Some conservatives say that Kavanaugh is insufficiently conservative and they are pointing to his decision on ACA, the ACA dissent and also on Garza V. Hargan. There’s also reporting by NBC News this morning that there's negotiation between Kennedy and Trump that Kavanaugh would be his successor, that Kennedy felt secure with him. Is there a sense that maybe he would be a justice?”
SCHUMER: “Anyone who gets the good housekeeping seal of approval from Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society and from the Heritage Foundation is not moderate, is not mainstream, it is hard right and wants to move America back decades."
