EXCERPT:

TOOBIN: “Let me respond to that in part. We don’t go to the President’s level in responding in the news media. We cover the news. That is entirely appropriate. Peter Fonda, who cares? I mean, it’s so ridiculous, some has-been celebrity —“
SMERCONISH: “No —“
TOOBIN: “Let me finish. Some has-been celebrity sends a tweet, and we treat it as if it’s news. But we cover the Trump Administration like journalists, and that’s entirely appropriate. They don’t defend what he does, but they don’t like the way in which it’s been interpreted and covered. It’s just an observation.”
BALDWIN: “Glad we’re having the conversation. I know, I know, I can see your face.”
