Maxine Waters Warns Harassment of Trump Officials Will Continue: ‘The People’ Will ‘Turn on Them’ (Mediaite)

California Rep. Maxine Waters is making it clear she has “no sympathy” for Department of Homeland Security head Kirstjen Nielsen and others within the Trump administration who are finding their dinner plans interrupted.

Speaking on MSNBC Saturday night, the Congresswoman started off by saying that Nielsen should “absolutely” step aside.

Then she said this: “I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who, you know, know it is wrong what they are doing on so many fronts but they tend to not want to confront this president or even leave…And I want to tell you, for these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they are not going to be able to go to a restaurant, they are not going to be able to stop at a gas station, they are not going to be able to shop in a department store. The people are going to turn on them, they are gonna protest, they are gonna absolutely harass them.”
