Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld Accuses Media of Exploiting Plight of Kids Separated at Border to Make Trump Look ‘Evil’ (Mediaite)

On Tuesday, Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld blasted CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and other members of the media for condemning the child separation policy and comparing the suffering to Nazi Germany concentration camps.

“My dad survived. His brothers and sisters were killed at Auschwitz. They weren’t separated to go to some other facility. They were separated to die,” Blitzer said in a clip played on The Five in which he expressed concern and outrage over what was happening right now in America.

Gutfeld replied to Blitzer’s emotional words with a simple, “Well done, Wolf.”

Then, the Fox host accused the media of pushing the child separation narrative and using the plight of the separated children as a way to make the Trump administration look bad, despite the fact this current situation “is born from a larger broken system.”

“So we all agree separation sucks but when faced with child sex trafficking and a tripling of pretend families, where is your answer?” Gutfeld opined.

Then he said this: “The media uses children to maintain the narrative Trump is evil even though he reduces the threat of nuclear war. And with no memory of what they reported when their guy [Obama] was president.”
