John Layfield on China: ‘We’re About 10 Years too Late on the Theft Of Intellectual Property’

‘We don’t have any allies right now’

RUSH EXCERPT:

LAYFIELD: "I don’t think we’re responding in kind. If we went after Chinese companies in the United States and said you have to partner with the United States entity and store your data here, that’s in kind. We’re about ten years too late on the theft of intellectual property, this made in China 2025 is what the president is worried about. We’re fighting the E.U., too. So we don’t have any allies right now. Putting tariffs on these guys and I’m not sure they’re the answer. The down side to this is huge. Looks like it’s a negotiation tactic. Hope it is."
