BLITZER: "You are a father. You have kids. How do you explain this to your kids that these kids who are being separated from their parents are being ripped apart? What are you going —"
SHORT: "The same way I did here on your show. It’s a terribly choice."
BLITZER: "What is more moral? Maybe they will disappear but they will be together. What do you say to the leaders of the catholic church, most of them are saying, this is a bad, bad policy."
SHORT: "It’s to say we need help from Congress to provide the tools necessary so we can handle this better. Right now, you are faced with a binary choice."
