Shepard Smith Mocks Trump’s Claims North Korea is No Longer Nuclear Threat: ‘Sleep Well, America!’ (Mediaite)

On Wednesday, Fox News’ Shephard Smith threw President Donald Trump‘s bold claims about North Korea a little bit of shade, declaring that America can sleep better knowing that Trump is on the nuclear ball.

“You can sleep well, America!” Smith said, failing to fully contain his smirk. “The president says there’s no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea. Of course, North Korea’s leaders have proven in the past they’re willing to go back on their words and that’s all we have without any concrete promises, are we really safer?”

Earlier today, President Donald Trump did not shy away from taking credit for his successes during the very brief meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un,  tweeting out shortly after his arrival back in the United States that America can feel much safer with him as POTUS.
