JOLLY: "But what we are seeing in the Trump presidency is somebody who is behaving like Nixon. Somebody who is flirting with dismissing the very people who are investigating them. Somebody like today, and it has been too normalized to suggest that he can pardon himself. That was not Bill Clinton's narrative. Bill Clinton's narrative was, 'I'm allowed certain civil defenses even though I am president of the United States.' Richard Nixon was, 'The Constitution be damned. I'm the president and if I do it, it counts and it matters and it's legal and lawful.' That's what Donald Trump is doing and that is why he is going down the road toward impeachment."
