Samantha Bee shredded Ivanka Trump — and not Roseanne Barr — in her opening monologue this week.
The TBS host opened “Full Frontal” calling out the president’s daughter for posting a cuddly photo of herself and her 2-year-old son as migrant families were torn apart on her father’s orders.
“Tearing children away from their parents is so evil it’s the inciting incident in almost every movie we’ve ever cared about,” Bee said.
She admitted that hundreds of migrant children had been lost in the immigration system under policies that predated President Donald Trump, but she hammered Ivanka Trump for overlooking the outrage to promote her own family.
