Judge Nap on Michael Cohen’s Partner: ‘Obvious’ Mueller ‘Has Extended His Reach into the State Courts’

‘I have never seen this before because the federal system and the state system are two entirely different and separate systems’

EXCERPT:

NAPOLITANO: "He has to have something on Michael Cohen. There are a couple of very unique aspects to this. He pleaded guilty in state court for refusing to turn over funds to the state taxing authorities. But he is required to cooperate with a prosecution in federal court, in particular the prosecution of Michael Cohen in federal court in Manhattan. I must tell you, Julie, in all my years of being a lawyer, a judge or observing this from here at Fox, I have never seen this before because the federal system and the state system are two entirely different and separate systems. So it is obvious that Bob Mueller, for better or for worse, has extended his reach into the state courts."
