MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace mocks Trump Tower participant excuses: They seem ‘too stupid’ to collude (Raw Story)

On today’s episode of Deadline: White House on MSNBC, Nicole Wallace and her guests marveled at the absurdity of the Trump campaign’s alleged meeting with representatives of the Russian government.

“They could have conspired, colluded, it may not be a crime, but the fact that you would sit down with representatives of the Russian government — the Russian government — to get information on your opponent in a presidential general election is astonishing,” former US Attorney Chuck Rosenberg said. 

The administration’s defenders have excused their actions in a variety of baffling ways. Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox last night to make the case that everybody does what the Trump campaign is accused of doing.
