Vance: If We’re Going to Survive as a Republic, Trump Cannot Pardon People Like Cohen

‘It has to be the case that the president of the United States cannot pardon people who could provide testimony against him’

RUSH EXCERPT:
VANCE: "You know, if we're going to survive -- I don't mean to be dramatic about it. If we're going to survive as a constitutional republic, it has to be the case that the president of the United States cannot pardon people who could provide testimony against him personally and close members of his family. So, if the folks on the hill don't see a pardon of a witness who is being scrutinized for this sort of conduct, if they don't see that as a red line, then we're in a lot of trouble."
