Sam Nunberg on Whether He Will Speak Before House Democrats: ‘Absolutely Not’

‘I think this is why Chairman Nunes was right to wind up the House investigation’

EXCERPT:

TUR: "And more than two weeks ago, Republicans on the House Intel Committee ended their Russia probe. But their Democratic counterparts appear to be far from finished. In fact jut this morning former campaign aide Sam Nunberg received this letter from ranking member Adam Schiff. It reads: 'As part of our ongoing investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 U.S. elections, we request that you produce certain documents, and participate in a voluntarily, transcribed interview.' Sorry there were some words missing from that. The Senate intel panel has also reached out to Nunberg asking that he turn over any communications he has with long-time Trump ally Roger Stone, specifically anything that mentions Russia, WikiLeaks or Julian Assange. Nunberg has also been asked to appear before that committee later this month. Former Trump campaign adviser Sam Nunberg joins me now. Also with me is Daniel Goldman, a former assistant U.S. attorney for the southern district of New York. Sam, are you going to be going to speak to House Democrats?"
NUNBERG: "Absolutely not."
TUR: "Why?"
NUNBERG: "Because it’s been closed down by Chairman Nunes."
