George Mitchell: ‘There Should Be a Capital of the Palestinian State in East Jerusalem!’

MITCHELL: "Unfortunately, when the president announced this he said it takes Jerusalem off the table. I think most people understand that to mean the issue has been resolved. That can’t be the case. There can’t possibly be a peace between Israelis and Palestinians if Israel has Jerusalem as its capital. And that takes the issue off the table, there has to be recognition of a Palestinian state and a Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem."
