Barnicle Blames Trump for Iran/Israel Missile Exchange: He Lacks a ‘Doctrine’

‘Donald Trump consistently thinks about one thing each and everyday, himself’

EXCERPT:

BARNICLE: “Well, Joe, and therein lies the danger, doesn’t it? Ronald Reagan sat on planes going to give speeches for General Electric around the country for 10, 15 years, became governor of California, president of the United States, and indeed took notes on his philosophy and what he thought about things every single day, and was pretty preoccupied for much of his adult life because of how he was raised and the era he was raised in, about the then Soviet Union. So Ronald Reagan thought about all these things. Donald Trump consistently thinks about one thing each and everyday, himself. And so now here we are, he’s torn up TPP, he’s torn you have NAFTA, he’s trying to erase any image or memory of Barack Obama as president, and he takes the Iran accord and tosses that out. It’s no accident, Joe, that we haven’t mentioned this, it’s no accident that yesterday from mobile missile sites in Syria Iran fired rockets into Israel. And this gets to the nub of the problem with the Trump doctrine or lack of doctrine. There is no tomorrow in his thinking. There’s only today and only himself.”
