CHU: "That’s the reason why a lot of people are looking at this saying President Trump and his administration will have to figure it out how they can react to this narrative going forward. President Trump, there’s no doubt, these job numbers are coming under his watch. But it was very much about pressure that was already built up coming from the Obama Administration. We were already coming out of a recession so the trends were already in place. What we got to figure out is whether or not companies will react positively because of tax cuts. Remember, President Trump threw a lot of political capital, a lot of resources, a lot of this hard work into trying to get this Tax Cut and Jobs Act passed. Now it’s going to be whether he’s judged on whether corporations actually do something with it for the workers."
