And I think for those of us who are concerned about this sprawling, abusive, dysfunctional bureaucracy that is the V.A., there are fair questions to be asked. Does he have the life experience to corral that beast and whip it into shape. That's why I think a rigorous questioning during the confirmation hearings will be warranted if we get to that point. Let’s get rid of the personal stuff first. Let's see if that stuff is true. Part of it does feel a little bit like a pile-on here. The President makes a decent point.
