Mary Anne Marsh: Trump ‘Can’t Fire His Way out’ of the DNC Lawsuit

‘This lawsuit is modeled on the one the DNC brought against Richard Nixon during Watergate that drove Nixon out of the White House’

EXCERPT:

HEMMER: "So Mary Anne, I have Claire McCaskill, Jackie Speier, David Axelrod, all prominent Democrats saying that this doesn’t have a lot of water to hold. Go ahead."
MARSH: "Well here is the difference. Donald Trump can fire Mueller, he can fire Sessions, he can fire Rosenstein, he can fire the entire Department of Justice but he can’t fire his way out of this lawsuit. This lawsuit is modeled on the one the DNC brought against Richard Nixon during Watergate that they not only won --"
HEMMER: "Oh, really?"
MARSH: "-- but they  drove Nixon out of the White House and sent many aides to prison as we all know. So everyone can mock this all they want, but this is about discovery, this is about the facts, this is about the court of law. And when you look at the fact that Donald Trump is waging his defense in the court of public opinion but has lost every single time in court thus far with everybody who's been indicted, pled guilty and other matters, you start to understand why Donald Trump is so upset about this."
