Trump Biographer D’Antonio: Trump ‘The Most Successful Con Man Perhaps in History’

‘This is the most successful con man perhaps in history’

D'ANTONIO: "You are hearing the absolute truth about his method. This is the most successful con man perhaps in history. He uses superlatives. I’ll use them too. It began actually in the early ‘70s with him tooling around Manhattan in a chauffeured car that his father owned with a person who was armed and he made that known. And then he got himself in 'The New York Times,' had the reporter say that he was very much like Robert Redford. He just started building this image that is completely false, and it's continued to this day. This is why it is hard to have any reality when you deal with Donald Trump. So that part is 100 percent true. That's who the man is."
