Mike Huckabee: People Are Not Used to a Politician Actually Doing What He Says

‘A lot of people in the political world and in the journalistic world are not used to a politician actually doing what he says once he gets in office’

EXCERPT:

HUCKABEE: "Well, I don’t think this is a directed action toward California as much as it is —  this is a fulfillment of a campaign promise that he made. A lot of people in the political world and in the journalistic world are not used to a politician actually doing what he says once he gets in office. They are used to saying, 'Well, now that I know better...' and Donald Trump is saying, 'No. This is what I said I was going to do and I’m going to do it.' And it shouldn't be a shock to anybody. It would be a bigger shock if he wasn’t trying to enforce the borders. But California is going to have to decide are they one of the 50 states of the union, or do they want to be a separate country? And if they do, do they want to be annexed by Mexico because they’re about to be anyway. That’s where they’re headed and I don’t know if that’s what people of California want even if it’s what some of the more ridiculous left-leaning politicians seem to want."
