Van Hollen: ‘Laughable’ that Trump’s Threatening to Veto Omnibus to Help Protect DACA

VAN HOLLEN: "Hallie, the government will only shut down if President Trump vetoes this bipartisan bill that passed the Senate with 65 votes. What’s really laughable here is for the President to say he is going to do this to help protect DACA. Remember, it was President Trump who pulled the plug on DACA. He eliminated the DACA program. He then opposed the bipartisan legislation put together in the United States Congress that would have been protected the DREAMers. He said he wanted a bill of love, he got a bipartisan bill, he opposed it."
