MEYERS: "Trump couldn’t even act innocent when he was a private citizen. He flew around in a black helicopter, he hung out with O.J. Simpson, and his apartment looked like smaug’s lair. There’s no doubt that what Trump is doing right now is testing how far he can go without pushback from GOP leaders in Congress. Trump has already fired Comey and attempted to fire Mueller. If Republicans don’t make clear that there will be serious consequences for firing Mueller, then nothing will stop trump from doing that. And yet when they were asked over the weekend about the possibility that trump could fire Mueller, their answers were pretty half-hearted and weak."
