Landrieu Insists to Voters that Her $2.5 Million D.C. Home Isn’t a ‘Mansion’

‘They say I live in a mansion? ... tell them about my house’

Landrieu Assures Louisiana Voters Her $2.5 Million DC Home Isn’t A ‘Mansion’ (Washington Free Beacon)

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D., La.) assured voters Saturday that she does not live in your typical “mansion,” but rather, a quaint townhome.

In a video obtained by America Rising, Landrieu slammed her opponent, Republican Bill Cassidy for his “mansion” outside of Louisiana State University, while she lives in a much more modest home.

While speaking at an event in Bogalusa, La., on Saturday, Landrieu downplayed her $2.5 million home in Washington, D.C., as hardly a mansion.
