Chris Wallace Dings Trump for Wishy-Washy Statements on Russia: ‘He Doesn’t Condemn’ (Mediaite)

Fox News’ Chris Wallace said today it’s pretty clear from President Trump‘s rhetoric that he’s not as tough on Russia as many would like.

After the sanctions imposed today, Harris Faulkner asked Wallace if it’s fair for critics to say Trump has “done nothing” to respond to Russia.

Wallace said it’s certainly not true he’s done nothing, but also “legitimate criticism that he could have done more.”

He brought up the time it took for sanctions to be imposed and said of the President’s comments in particular that “there’s always a kind of equivocation, it looks like he’s not definite, he doesn’t condemn, and that’s notable.”
