Rosie O’Donnell: Rick Scott ‘Looked Like an Asshole’ (Mediaite)

On ABC’s The View Thursday Rosie O’Donnell said Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) “looked like an asshole” for initially refusing to debate his opponent Charlie Crist (D) due to a small electric fan Crist was using on stage.

At the start of the debate, Crist walked out alone and stood at his podium for several minutes while the moderators explained that Scott would not be participating because he did not agree to electronic items being used on stage. Beneath Crist’s podium was a small electric fan plugged in, presumably to help keep Crist cool under the warm stage lighting. Scott eventually came out.

O’Donnell mocked Scott’s behavior, saying he “He looked like an asshole.”

“He’s a politician,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg, “with his head in his butt.”
