The GOP will take the Senate, Charles Krauthammer says, but “Republicans are doing a lot worse this year . . . than they should be.”

The Special Report panelist highlighted one race in particular on Tuesday evening: Kentucky’s battle between Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes. “Lincoln is said to have said, about the Civil War, ‘I would like to have God on my side, but I must have Kentucky.’ If Republicans can’t win Kentucky, in this year with all the factors going in their favor — unpopularity of the president, things abroad [and] things at home not looking good, and with a fairly weak candidate [running against them] . .
