Trump: The NRA Will Back Our Common Sense Measures and So Will Congress

TRUMP: "This isn’t so much about funding, this is more about common sense. The money we are talking about — what I’m talking about is going to save money. They are talking about having 50, 60 security guards standing all over the school which is going to be very not nice for the students. I’m talking about something where they are there any way, where they get a little extra money because they happen to carry, where they go for training every year. We are talking about rules and regulations for purchasing, talking about changing age from 18 to 21. They buy a revolver, a handgun, they buy at the age of 21, and yet these other weapons we talk about that some people don’t like, they are allowed to buy them at 18. How does that make sense? I say it should all be at 21. But we are not really talking about money. We are talking about common sense and it’s a great thing. The NRA will back it. I really feel confident the NRA will back it and so will Congress and so will the Senate."
