Blitzer to Sen. Nelson: ‘It’s Been Just Four Months Since’ Vegas, ‘What Is Congress Doing?’

‘It has just been four months since the Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 people’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
BLITZER: "It has just been four months since the Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 people. More than five years since the Sandy Hook shooting that killed 20 first graders. What is Congress doing anything about it?"
NELSON: "And a year since the shooting at the ft. Lauderdale airport, the same county that parkland is located in."
BLITZER: "So what has Congress done about this?"
NELSON: "I can tell you exactly what Congress didn't do. We tried to pass Diane Feinstein's bill which was, if you're on the terrorist watch list as a terrorist, you cannot buy a gun. And we couldn't even get that passed, wolf. So you see the difficulty of getting any of this legislation passed."
