Chris Cuomo says President Donald Trump has intentionally turned a blind eye to the scandal involving former White House senior aide Rob Porter.

The New Day anchor made the charge on Tuesday morning — saying that the severity of Porter’s alleged domestic abuse offenses demand a forceful response from Trump. Instead, there has been silence.

“Domestic abuse is entire different echelon of concern in this society,” Cuomo said. “It’s a scourge. People die because of this. He knows this. He ignored it on purpose.”
