Reporter Grills W.H. Spox over Rob Porter: Do You Need a Photograph to Believe a Women?

‘And how should women feel if they don’t have a photograph?’

REPORTER: “Also, what about women who don’t have photographs? Do you trust their stories? Because a lot of times — you haven’t been at the podium, but Sarah said that allegations weren’t credible from other people. Do you need a photograph? And how should women feel if they don’t have a photograph?”
SHAH: “I don't think any standard applies. I just think that we do take allegations of misconduct, of domestic violence, other issues like that very seriously. We do — we are very concerned about them. In this instance, in the case of Rob Porter, we relied on the background check investigative process. That process hadn’t been completed. So we’re relying on the information that we had.”
