FNC’s Herridge: Graham-Grassley Memo Shows FBI Relied Heavily on Steele Dossier to Get FISA Warrant

They said the application ‘failed to disclose that the identities of Mr. Simpson’s ultimate clients were the Clinton campaign and the DNC’

EXCERPT:

HERRIDGE: "OK. So, this newly declassified criminal rereferral released by Senators Grassley and Graham shows the FBI relied heavily on the Trump dossier to secure the surveillance warrants and that Clinton associates were feeding information to the former British spy Christopher Steele as he compiled the dossier. And it reads in part, 'The report was information that came from a foreign sub-source in touch with [redacted], a contact of [redacted], a friend of the Clintons who passed it to [redacted].' There are indications that the blacked out sections refer to a long-time Clinton ally and friend Sidney Blumenthal who you'll remember provided intelligence reports to then Secretary of State Clinton through her unsecured personal server used exclusively for government business. Last night on the story Congressman Gowdy strongly hinted Blumenthal is a possibility."
