Preet Bharara: GOP FISA Memo Doesn’t Vindicate Trump

‘There are a number of Republicans, including people on the House Intelligence Committee, like Trey Gowdy, who also disagree with that assessment’

EXCERPT:

BHARARA: "As you pointed out in the earlier reporting in the segment, there are a number of Republicans, including people who are on the House Intelligence Committee, like Trey Gowdy, who also disagree with that assessment. It’s a three and a half page memo, which doesn’t say a whole heck of a lot about a lot of things, but one of the things it does say is that the investigation that we’re talking about here on TV every day and ever week began not with that dossier, but with a meeting that George Papadopoulos had. So this idea that the Russia investigation is somehow inappropriate or improper or that the President is vindicated, it doesn’t implicate the President certainly, but it doesn’t vindicate him at anything."
