Paul Gosar: Immigration Should Not Be Attached to the CR and Used as ‘Extortion’

SCOTT: "What about the Senate Democrats' contention that DACA has to be part of any funding legislation?" 
GOSAR: "It’s not. We promised the American people to build a wall, no amnesty and everything else. And we are going to live by those agreements. You have a conversation about immigration, it shouldn’t be attached to a funding bill and it shouldn’t be used as extortion. From that standpoint, if that’s what you want, then let’s get it on right now because the leverage is on our side. Do it now, don’t wait until the very end, the last moment when bad deals are done. Let’s do what the American people sent us to do here, pass budgets, fund our military and then have the conversation about immigration."
