Wolff: Bannon ‘Thought When He Told Me These Things, that Roy Moore Was Going to Win’

‘And if Roy Moore won in Alabama, that would mean Steve Bannon won, and Donald Trump lost’

EXCERPT:

WOLFF: "He’s certainly not challenging everything that I quoted him as saying. And I think that he’s — I think Steve is trying to figure out what to do right now. Where does he go? I would say, and this is somewhat conjecture on my part of what Steve was thinking, but I think that he thought when he told me these things that Roy Moore was going to win in Alabama. And if Roy Moore won in Alabama, that would mean Steve Bannon won and Donald Trump lost, and Steve Bannon would be holding the banner into 2018. I think with that background, he was willing to break with the President.”
