Almost every celebrity attending the 2018 Golden Globe awards Sunday wore a “Time’s Up” pin calling for an end to sexual harassment in the entertainment industry, yet when host Seth Meyers trained his mockery on Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, boos erupted.

Meyers, pivoting from an anti-Trump joke, turned to Weinstein.

"Well I think it's time to address the elephant not in the room," Meyers said. "Harvey Weinstein isn't here tonight because, well, I've heard rumors that he's crazy and difficult to work with."

"Don't worry," he continued, "he'll be back in 20 years when he becomes the first person ever booed during the 'In Memoriam.'"

At that point, the crowd began booing, and Meyers ad libbed, "It will sound like that."

Meyers then encountered the same reaction when he turned to Kevin Spacey.

"Well, despite everything that happened this year the show goes on," he started. "For example, I was happy to hear they're going to do another season of 'House of Cards.' Is Christopher Plummer available for that, too? I hope he can do a southern accent because Kevin spacey sure couldn't."

Again, boos filled the hall, and Meyers responded: "Oh, is that too mean? To Kevin Spacey?"
