McCORMACK: "We really don’t know that yet. It seems like the Ttrump legal team at least is willing to sort of go after Flynn both by dangling a carrot in front of him and presenting a stick to threaten him. The carrot is the possibility that he could be pardoned. President Trump has left that out there. This possible character attack on Flynn would be the stick. That presents some problems for President Trump himself. Obviously, he named him to be national security adviser. That calls into question his judgment, but it shows the Trump legal team is willing to take different routes to get Flynn to behave as they hope he does."
