KIRK: "It’s pretty cool. I got a couple of retweets and mentions after that. But what I said, I think, remains true. And you look at what this president has accomplished over the last year especially with this tax reform and tax cut, the biggest tax cut of my generation, but not just that, you look at his leadership internationally — ISIS is totally on the run, how he’s remaking the courts domestically, and you see manufacturing confidence at its highest level in nearly 50 years. And the president, you turn on, you know, some of these other networks and you see nothing but negative coverage and all this Russia nonsense. So I think it remains true that what this president has done is truly historic. And if a Democrat president achieved one-tenth of what President Trump has done over last year they would say it would be one of the most amazing first years of a presidency we’ve ever seen."
