Grabien Flashback: ‘The Worst Moments of the Media’s Bridgegate Hysteria’

After nine months investigating, today NBC News reports, "The U.S. Justice Department investigation into Gov. Chris Christie’s role in the George Washington Bridge lane closure scandal has thus far uncovered no evidence indicating that he either knew in advance or directed the closure of traffic lanes on the span."

Just eight months ago, TV pundits, particularly on MSNBC, were certain: This saga spelled the end of Chris Christie's political career. Some, like Jeffrey Toobin, said his career would be finished ... even if an investigation eventually exonerates him!

Today a federal investigation seemingly did just that. So we thought it was a good time take a short stroll down memory lane.
