Mika Blasts Sarah Sanders for Defending Trump’s Suggestive Gillibrand Tweet (Mediaite) 

Mika Brzezisnki went on a tear against Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who did her best to defend President Donald Trump’s tweet claiming Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand came to him “begging” for campaign contributions, “and would do anything for them.”

Brzezinski initially reacted to Trump’s tweet Tuesday morning by calling on Sanders to either tell the truth to White House reporters about Trump’s “derogatory and disgusting” tweet — or resign.

On Wednesday’s episode of Morning Joe — after Sanders defended Trump’s tweet and asked the press corps to get its “mind out of the gutter” for thinking the president was using sexual innuendo — Brzezinski lamented the press secretary’s performance.
