Rep. Thompson Defends Chain Migration: ‘We’re Trying to Keep Families Together’

THOMPSON: "You know, part of that, as you know, is family unification. So many individuals who have used that procedure come to this country because mother or father is already here. And we are trying to keep families together, not separate it. And just to say that this is another issue, I think it's a problem. So the courts ultimately will settle this. And I'm convinced that the courts will fall down on the side that the law of the land is exactly in tact. And what the president is trying to do is unconstitutional."
