New information suggests that four people with known ties to terror groups tried to cross our southern border on Sept. 10 – and today, the Homeland Security secretary neither confirmed nor denied it.

Today at a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) asked Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson about the report that four men tried to cross the Texas border last week, and that they have known ties to terrorist organizations.

Johnson said that he had “heard reports to that effect” but did not know the accuracy of the reports.
