The ad-man and Morning Joe elaborated on his theory that 20-40 CEOs control the fate of the NFL through their ability to pull sponsorship from the league by wondering, along with host Mika Brzezinski, why Rihanna didn’t also use her platform as a major pop figure to denounce domestic violence.
“Why doesn’t she write a song that talks about, ‘No more, no more, if he does it kick him in the nuts and run out the door’?” Deutsch asked. He then confirmed that he came up with that off the top of his head.
