Przybyla: Dems Are Trying to Clean House By Calling for Franken’s Resignation

‘This really was a coordinated attempt, Mika, by the women of the Senate’

EXCERPT:

PRYZBYLA: “This really was a coordinated attempt, Mika, by the women of the Senate. If you saw how this went down yesterday; yes, Senator Schumer did call Franken immediately after that 'Politico' story. It seemed to be the critical mass of the number of women coming forward accusing Franken. But if you look at how all the statements came out -- they were within an hour or two of each other, about seven Democratic women came forward and said, 'Time to go.' So there was a sense this just reached a point where it was no longer possible for the conference to turn the other way and -- and say that -- that Franken should continue to serve. I think the Democratic Party here is -- if you look at what’s going on with John Conyers, you look at what's going on with -- with Franken, even the member of Congress Mr. Kihuen from Nevada, now Nancy Pelosi calling for his resignation, they are trying to clean House, once you get so many accusers coming forward here on the record.”
