David Shulkin: ‘The Wait Times Have Definitely Improved’

SHULKIN: "First of all, the wait times definitely have improved. What we've done is we’ve prioritized veterans who need the care the most, those with clinical needs that are urgent. They definitely improved significantly. We publish all our wait times publicly so everybody can see them and that's helping to put the pressure on those that need to continue to improve faster. We're the only health system in the country that publishes its wait times. But the numbers are going down and we’re getting better at seeing veterans quicker."
