Former Vice-President Dick Cheney cautioned that terrorists will overrun Afghanistan much like how ISIL has in Iraq if President Obama continues his scheduled troop withdrawal.

DICK CHENEY: To avoid repeating President Obama’s arbitrary and hasty withdrawal of residual forces from Iraq, the tragic era that gave us the caliphate, we should have the draw down of our troops in Afghanistan halted. The terror and chaos in Iraq, today, will only be replayed in Afghanistan if we abandon that country.

Obama announced that no American troops will be left in Afghanistan by the end of 2016, even in the face of the similar troop drawdown in Iraq having terrible repercussions. Ever since Obama removed troops out of Iraq in 2011, the country has been constant turmoil from the differing regimes and the terror group ISIL.
