Maher: Future’s Bright for the Spineless Glob of Goo, Let’s Go ‘Romney 2016’

‘In 40 years, you know what you will be eating? Jellyfish’

MAHER: "It’s been horrible for a long time. I mean, we have been facing this problem with the environment in general for a long time. I read in the paper, in 40 years, there will be no fish left in the ocean."
LETTERMAN: "40 years?"
MAHER: "Yes, by 2050 there will be no fish left. Do you know what species is thriving? Jellyfish.
LETTERMAN: "Jellyfish"
MAHER: "Jellyfish. Everything else because it’s so acidified and warmer than it should be is dying and over fished. But jellyfish because, we learned when we were looking for the Malaysian plane — the ocean is one -- (laughter) not funny. The ocean is one big oil slick. It’s all oil and plastic. What do jellyfish love?"
LETTERMAN: "Oil and plastic."
MAHER: "They’re like, “Oil? had some for lunch.”"
LETTERMAN: "I heard on the radio the other day, the California blue whale was once disappearing and now back to nearly it’s optimum population."
MAHER: "Yes, the few species people think are cute are doing well. But we don’t eat whale. In 40 years, you know what you will be eating? Jellyfish."
LETTERMAN: "Jellyfish."
MAHER: "The future looks bright if you’re a spineless glob of goo. Which is why I say, Mitt Romney in 2016, ladies and gentlemen."
