Freeman: If Gillespie Wins, There Will Be a ‘Meltdown’ in the Democratic Party

‘I think the danger for them is they’ve tried to make this about Trump’

EXCERPT:

FREEMAN: "You would have basically a meltdown in the Democratic Party kind of wondering what’s going on. But I think the danger for them is they’ve tried to make this about Trump and like lots of places, his approval rating is not good but people generally like the economic plan, they are generally feeling more optimistic. You see Gillespie now emphasizing more his across the board 10 percent tax cut. He is about growth. It's really in some ways better than the individual plan the House has come up with at the federal level. But I think a big problem is Democrats figure out how to recreate the Obama magic."
