TURNER: "I will say President Trump took great care in his remarks in Japan yesterday to point out that the era of strategic patience is over. That means we can no longer give Putin the benefit of the doubt and allow Russia policy to include strategic patience. He has to now confront Putin about all of this and everything that’s been uncovered here in the United States. I think he can meet with Putin and that may very well be useful in terms of hedging against North Korea, but he can’t leave out the elephant in the room anymore."
