Fox News’ Judge Napolitano: Trump Shouldn’t Send NYC Terror Suspect to Gitmo (Mediaite)

Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano expressed his strong disagreement with the suggestion from President Donald Trump today that the NYC terror suspect could be sent to Gitmo.

Napolitano told the hosts of Fox’s Outnumbered he “profoundly disagree[s]” with the President’s comments, while praising the work of the Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York.

“About Gitmo,” he continued, “this person, as horrific as he is, is a lawful American resident. He has the same rights, except for voting and running for office, as the rest of us. There is simply no provision for terminating his Constitutional rights by putting him in the hands of the military and taking him to Gitmo.”
