MSNBC: Trump’s Approval Drops to a New Low in NBC-WSJ Poll, Drops 7 Points Among Independents

BRZEZINSKI: “President Trump’s approval rating is down to a new low. In the latest NBC News/’Wall Street Journal' poll, 38 percent approve of Trump’s job performance, down 5 points from last month. 58 percent disapprove. Trump’s approval is the worst of his presidency in the NBC poll and is also well below where other modern presidents have ranked in the fall of their first terms. The same poll had George W. Bush at 88 percent, Barack Obama at 51 percent, and Bill Clinton at 47 percent. Trump’s approval rating remains strong among Republicans at 81 percent, but he’s dropped seven points among independents to 34 percent. His disapproval rating in that key group up 9 points, to 57 percent.”
